Borehole Water Pumps

borehole water pump
Borehole cannot work without the installation of a pump to supply your water.
So there are lots of different pumps. The kind of pump you install depends.

                                                 Types of borehole pumps

You have submersible pumps majorly for deep wells and fairly deep wells. And also you surface pump that is not like the submersible pumps, this is used to transfer water most times between storage facility. But however, surface pumps can be used for shallow boreholes and you are just fine.

Agrngfos pump with a capacity of 7.5 horse power cannot not be installed in a shallow well of about a 100ft or 30metre.

I have said before when i talked about before drilling a borehole that the kind of pump you install is determined by a couple of factors such as

Aquifer, yield of hole, dept, distance of storage facility.

This is why you need a good borehole drilling company with understanding of the terrain.

  4. The non-self-priming vertical multistage in-line centrifugal DAYLIFF DI/DIN pump family is designed for a variety of water delivery, irrigation, liquid transfer, and boosting applications. The pumps have a robust structure and are made to work continuously in commercial and industrial settings. The impellers, intermediate chambers, shaft, and top and bottom housings of all DIN pumps are made of AISI 316 stainless steel, which makes them appropriate for pumping highly mineralized, corrosive water. The top and bottom housing of DI pumps are made of cast iron, while all other parts are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Every pump has a typical cartridge type mechanical seal and is water lubricated. They come with BSP internally threaded counter flanges already attached.
